Browns Brian Hoyer Surpasses Johnny Football in Jersey Sales

Breitbart.com

Brian Hoyer, a former backup quarterback for the New England Patriots, is now a full time starter for the Cleveland Browns. Playing behind Tom Brady in New England, Hoyer never had a chance to show people what he could do. Now, he is leading the Browns to one of the best seasons they have had in years and people are taking notice. The fans love Hoyer. This is why his jersey sales are far surpassing those of former Heisman winner Johnny Manziel.

I feel that if Johnny Manziel was the starter for the Browns, then his sales would be higher. Manziel hardly ever plays, so the fans do not want the jersey. Why buy the jersey of a player who is not out there making big plays? NFL  jerseys sell for almost $200 each. That is already a high price to pay. Many fans are not willing to pay that price for a bench player. In this case, the demand and the supply do not match up. This is why I believe that Johnny Football jersey prices will drop this holiday season.

  1. I am happy for Brian Hoyer. All of his hard work, surviving as a back-up for the New England Patriots and Minnesota Viking, is finally paying him dividends. B.H. is playing good enough to possibly lead the Cleveland Browns to the AFC North title for the first time in 20 years, and the fans love him!
As for Johnny Heisman, he will not have any jersey sales if Brain Hoyer keeps playing the way he is, and I am not sorry for him.
